With our elegant booth in tow, our Fotomoji team was recently asked to be at a Disney-themed wedding at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Calgary.
As we walked into the ballroom where everyone was being served dinner, we were whimsically greeted by our all-time favourite Disney songs. I was immediately transported back to my 8-year-old self sitting on the floor at our old home, watching movies such as Snow White and Cinderella--it was magical, to say the least. Each centerpiece was a unique representation of the couple's beloved fairy tales--a rose inside a glass dome for Beauty and the Beast, a bunch of apples surrounded by moss depicting the poisoned apple in Snow White, glass jar with shells and miniature ship's steering wheel on sand for the Little Mermaid, and other intricately-designed decorations.
We were then delightfully entertained when Amantha & Jeremy danced and lip synced to Disney songs which turned to more compilation of Spice Girls and Enrique Iglesia's songs!! TALK ABOUT FUN COUPLES!!!
The DJ, who, unfortunately for us, is now retired had everyone dancing throughout the rest of the night. People lined up for the photo booth were all dancing--even Amanda and I couldn't help but dance as we worked that booth!
Looking back through the images, I can't help but notice how this couple have stayed forever young at heart. They make our goofy family look like Grant Wood's 1930 painting of the American Gothic couple. And if you, by chance, browse through those pictures, you'll see that everyone was genuinely having the time of their lives.
Congratulations Amantha & Jeremy! Always stay goofy and live happily ever after!
